Environmental Recovery Fee Disclosure

Adler Tank Rentals Environmental Recovery Fee

Effective January 1, 2021, Adler Tank Rentals will begin charging customers an Environmental Recovery Fee (“ERF”). The ERF is a recurring fee that will appear as a separate line item on all invoices and price quotes. The ERF will be charged at a rate of 1.5% of the customer’s overall rental charges on tank and box products, excluding taxes. The rate at which the ERF is charged is subject to change from time to time, at the discretion of Adler Tank Rentals, due to the costs that the ERF is intended to cover.

The ERF rate is not intended to cover the specific direct or indirect costs to service a particular customer account and is not a government-mandated or imposed fee, surcharge or tax charged to Adler Tank Rentals or its customers.

The ERF is intended to help Adler Tank Rentals recover both company-wide direct and indirect costs in connection with environmental, health, and safety compliance and in performing its operations in an environmental sustainable manner, and it includes an amount designed to achieve an acceptable operating margin. Costs incurred are associated with activities such as but not limited to: (1) handling, transporting and disposal of waste materials; (2) fluid and fuel handling; (3) retrieval, management and disposal of abandoned or orphaned product and equipment; (4) required or mandated local, state and federal governmental reporting; and (5) administrative and labor costs and expenses with respect to environmental, health and safety compliance activities.

If you have any questions with regard to the application of the ERF to your rental charge, please do not hesitate to contact your Adler Tank Rental representative.
